The residue on my face however was so oily that water alone couldn't remove it. Also a second cleanser had a hard time getting everything off and I had to wash my face twice or thrice with it to get everything off. What I love about cleansing balms is that you don't need extra wipes, cottons pads or other wasteful products to remove it and it is a very gentle way to cleanse your face. This balm however requires per the instructions a cleansing cloth which will only irritate your skin and would still leave your face feeling greasy. For me it's the worst cleansing balm I've ever used in my life 🙅🏻‍♀️
