From all Urang’s products, i decided to choose this essence bcs its claims which quite promising IMO. The main ingredient from this essence is organic rosa damascena flower water, which is rich of vitamin A and C so it could brighten and stabilize the skin effectively. Besides, this essence can increase skin hydration so it could reduce the Transepidermal Water Loss (TEWL) effect, soothe the redness acne, and irritation. So this essence might work for people who have dry, acne-prone, dehydrated, dull, and sensitive / easily sensitized skin.
The packaging is made of glass with 50 ml content and a pump as the applicator. The texture of this essence reminds me of aloe vera gel and as you blend it, it melts just like water and sinks into your skin beautifully without feeling any stickiness. Wow the scent is very strong but it doesn’t bother me tho, the scent of real rose bcs this essence contains 50,7% organic rosa damascena flower water and 0,1% essential oil of this rose, so i kinda feel like wearing a parfume every time i used this product🥀
Honestly i got a mixed-feeling with this essence. Actually i could feel the hydration and calming effect that it gave to my skin, my combo and easily sensitized skin was quite happy with those benefits. But, the more often i used this essence, the many kinda like acne -but it’s white and it sit underneath my epidermis- appeared, it happened just around my mound and chin. After i did some experiments, this essence worked better if i used it as a mask, i mean a soaked cotton pad or sheet mask capsule, and then i put it on specific area that need more attention. With this way i could see the brighten effect and my redness really calmed down.
One other thing i noticed from this essence was the rest of essence that couldn’t come out anymore with its pump, bcs the texture was super jelly-like so i needed to open the applicator and put a bit effort to get it out. And keep it mind that this essence has only 6 months PAO.
Eventho this product didn’t work as i expected, but at least alhamdulillah i still could use this with CSM-method like i said before, so i‘d still give this essence for 3 stars because it‘s still worth to try IMO.
