The consistency of this serum is very watery despite not containing water. It’s very thin and soaks in very quickly but doesn’t leave the skin feeling too sticky, just slightly tacky. Because this product is so thin I do apply this right after my toner.
⚡︎⚡︎ How to use ⚡︎⚡︎
If you’re new to acids or have sensitive skin, start by mixing 2-3 drops in your moisturizer and applying onto your face every night. If you see no signs of irritation after two weeks, apply 1-2 drops directly onto your skin every other night, always following with a hydrating moisturizer. Gradually work your way up to applying the serum every night. This Vitamin C serum is recommended as a night treatment. If used before sun exposure, make sure to apply sunscreen.

I don’t notice much of a fragrance to this product. Maybe a slight citrus smell?? But even then it’s so light it’s completely unnoticeable to me.
⚡︎⚡︎ Packaging ⚡︎⚡︎
I ❤️ THIS PACKAGING! It is so aesthetically pleasing to look at with the dark black/blue bottle and gold lettering. I appreciate that they made the bottle very thick and dark because I feel they are at least trying to keep the product from oxidizing. The dropper is nice and all together the packaging is an A+ for me.

For a Vitamin C serum this product is pretty potent. They are not joking with their how to instructions and I would recommend if you are new to active ingredients or if you have very sensitive skin to mix this with your essence or moisturizer. When I first used this I was shocked by the instant stinging sensation (I was not expecting it to be that strong) but after a few weeks of regular use I barely notice any stinging. I have noticed my skin is much much brighter and it has definitely helped in reducing some of the scars left over from hormonal break outs. The brightening is almost an instant effect while the scarring does take some time to see improvement. I do use this in the morning with an SPF and find that it works perfectly. One of the downfalls to this product though is that it oxidizes SO FAST 😭😭. This may be partly my fault because I do not have the option to keep this in my refrigerator but I keep it in its dark box in a coolb dry place. I just purchased one of these for my mother and while mine is not completely oxidized it definitely has more of a yellow tint than her new bottle. I predict in another month or so I will have to lget a new one which is kind of a bummer because I still have quite a bit of product left.

Overall I do like this product but I don’t feel it is a magic product by any means. It’s a nice vitamin C serum and I love that it has a high content of vitamin C. It definitely gives results and is worth the purchase (IMHO) just make sure it is stored correctly or you may end up wasting a lot of product. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
