I was very recently sent the Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Omega-Rich Cloud Cream. I was sent this product free in exchange for my honest opinion, though Iwas not required to post on social media. This was kindly gifted by @kiehls and @bzzagent
.
First I want to say I am always so appreciative when I get products sent to me, I know not everyone is getting the opportunity to try as much as I am. But I have to be honest about my experience with products. And with this particular product, other than some I used on my hands and arms, I was unable to use it.
.
I always take pictures and film some things prior to use so I can get those perfect full bottle shots. Once I opened the product I noticed there was a fragrance that I couldn't immediately place. And after putting it on my hands I noticed they were slightly itchy. So I made sure to check the ingredient list before use and sure enough, there wasn't just one type of lavender, but three. So I will be passing this along to someone who doesn't have a fragrance allergy.
.
Since I did use some on my hands, I can talk about the texture. So if you are a big K Beauty lover, and have had cloud creams before, you are going to be really disappointed by this very misleading name. But if you are just a Kiehl's fan and looking to try something new, then you might be delighted by it's rich creamy texture.
It's filled with lavender, three types to be exact. I have an allergy, but I also think its something that shouldn't be in skincare because it's a known irritant.
