Once in a while I get these samples send by Kiehl’s and last time I got a serum. Serums are my favourite part in skincare but it is very difficult to review after using it once. However this one really did something after one use.
Claims: Kiehl's Retinol Skin-Renewing Daily Micro-Dose Serum is all about restoring your skin's youthful appearance and firmness. The anti-aging treatment contains microdosed retinol, which supports the skin's natural regeneration processes and promotes collagen production. The serum also contains peptides: on the one hand for structural regeneration, on the other hand to support the skin in absorbing the retinol. Ceramides refine the unique combination of active ingredients: they help to firm the skin, regenerate the skin's barrier lipids and build retinol tolerance. The result: Wrinkles are reduced, pores are refined, the skin becomes smoother and firmer and looks more youthful after just a few weeks of continuous use. The retinol serum is well tolerated - so any skin type can benefit from this effective anti-aging care.
My thoughts: As you can see in the video I was shocked by the feeling it gave me after just applying it. It felt so refreshing and strengthening after just once. I can’t really describe how it felt but it was so good. I am definitely going to buy this. To bad I used it in the pm because it also made my pores smaller and who doesn’t love that. On the packaging it says that it is for every skin type, you can use it in the am and pm and it is for face and neck.
