Review: Innisfree Jeju Cherry Blossom Jelly Cream🌸
It is a clear, gel-type cream which is designed to hydrate and brighten the skin, providing a refreshed and revitalised overall look. The unique texture allows the product to glide onto the skin without leaving a sticky or tacky finish.
The thing that makes this jelly cream special its that the product is infused with cherry blossom extract which is harvested from Jeju-do, an island lying just south of South Korea. This extract is rich in anti-oxidants and contains essential fatty acids that help to protect the skin barrier and keep your skin feeling soft and supple.
On top of this, this jelly cream contains niacinamide (which tightens pores and evens out skin tone) and betaine (which provides hydration).

Start by applying it on clean skin as you would a regular moisturiser. I tend to take a small scoopful and dot it around my face before gently rubbing it in, this seems to provide a nice, even coverage, I’d advise going in a second time and applying a bit more to any dry patches you might have. Since this is a very light product, you need to put on quite a thick layer to feel the hydrating benefits.
The texture is really jelly,lightweight and feels super soothing on the skin. It’s kind of cooling when you first apply it, but it gradually warms as you rub/pat it into your face. It dries down pretty quickly which I actually quite like, as it means you can go straight in with your sunscreen and makeup.
Other than that, I love the finish and the way it sits on the skin. It really does make your face feel soft to the touch! My foundation looks so smooth after using this jelly cream and there’s no pilling at all.💗
The brand doesn’t say it’s a moisturiser, but I did expect it to be a little more hydrating than it actually is. You do need to apply quite a thick layer to get the moisture that your skin needs.
Since it is very lightweight, I feel this would be better suited for the summer when my skin leans more towards the oily side. So I’m definitely going to try it out again when the weather warms up. But for now, I’ll have to stick to something a bit thicker.
