🔹️MY EXPERIENCE🔹️
I get a pimple or 2 just before my period & I wanted a gentle chemical exfoliation without stripping my skin. I rarely use any exfoliation products such as scrubs. I used this right after cleansing my face, I wear sunscreen & cushion on most days and this looked like a good way to make sure my pores are unclogged.
The 1st time I used it (only smooth side) , it was ok. I had zero reaction. However the 2nd night I used it, I felt instant STINGING sensation on my cheeks & sides of my nose. I stopped & rinsed it out with lots of water. My cheeks & sides of my nose was slightly red, stinging subsided. I stopped for 2 nights & resume using it on a tiny patch of my cheek...it was alright! I then used it all over my blemished area. Did my pimple dry up?? Not for a while. Like 3 days. I used a pimple patch to remedy that as well.
I also used it on my teenage son who has oily acne prone skin. It took away all the excess sebum & his skin was oil free for the whole day. I used both the embossed & smooth sides on him. He experienced no stinging sensation. His pimple did dry up faster than mine but he is very young so his healing process is more rapid.
This products is MOST suited for oily /resilient & acne prone skin. I personally will not repurchase this for myself but I will for my son.
I think for people with sensitive dry skin we need to stick with pimple patches & spot treatment cream.

The toner pad is one of the smallest in diameter (5cm) I have ever used. It is also not leak proof. I accidentally turned it after removing the plastic seal to test but the plastic lid was closed. Some of the toner fluid did seep out. It is a big tub & it is NOT travel friendly. The housing for tweezer isn't secure, it will always drop into the tub.
