This is a pretty good sunscreen. It has a lot of really good ingredients for my skin such as centella(as the name implies), hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, green tea, and glycerin. This sunscreen is pretty lightweight, although I could see it being a little too greasy for really oily skin types. It blends out very well and leaves no whitecast on me (I am very pale so take that with a grain of salt.) Its not exactly greasy once it absorbs but it does have a really shiny finish imo. Its not the shiniest finish out of all of the sunscreens I’ve tried but it’s definitely up there. It might be a little too shiny for oily skin. Overall, I love the texture, I love the pump tube too it’s so cute, and I love the box it comes in its so pretty. The finish is pretty nice although it is still very shiny. And most importantly this sunscreen is very affordable, it’s about $15. I for the most part enjoyed this sunscreen and I will continue to use it.
Now onto my main issues with this sunscreen. I have very dry, somewhat sensitive skin. This sunscreen is just not moisturizing enough for me. And despite all the soothing ingredients, this sunscreen stung my face the first couple times I used it. My skin was a little bit irritated around my nose area and this sunscreen just stung so bad and it didn’t even go away the stinging was there until I washed it off at night. It definitely stings my eyes and if I accidentally rub them or like even wind blows into my face and my eyes start to water its game over. It burns my eyes so bad. And the last thing I don’t like about it is its just not moisturizing enough for my dry skin. And the worst part is its not like I can put a heavier moisturizer underneath because I will look so greasy. The finish is just too shiny and its not moisturizing enough for me. I probably wouldn’t repurchase because I definitely feel like there are better sunscreens out there than this that don’t sting my face, are less shiny, and are moisturizing enough for my skin type.
