When face theory launched this product, I purchased it immediately because I had been looking for a bakuchiol product and there's very little chance that you can go wrong with a moisturizer.
The main ingredient as the name suggests is 2% bakuchiol which we all know is an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. It also contains rice starch, hyaluronic acid for hydration and glycerin, shea butter and argan oil as emollients.
Facetheory offers unscented versions and I appreciate that about this brand. I chose the unscented version which still has its own distinct scent. The packaging is plastic free - amber glass jar with an aluminum lid.
True to the description, it has a light, silky texture and absorbs rapidly without shine. Although it has shea butter and glycerin, it's not nourishing enough for my dry skin. I apply a thin layer and top it off with another moisturizer. In my excitement to purchase this, I didn't notice that this wasn't meant for my skin type. On combo skin, it works well.
I'm half way through the jar and haven't noticed any difference in my skin; that's fine though, I wasn't expecting any. It's a basic moisturizer that I'm happy to finish up.
Priced at 18,74β¬ for 50ml, you can buy this from facetheory.
