LA ROSÉE's sun stick is one of the first sun stick I bought. It's affordable, convenient, easy to put in a handbag or even a pocket.
LA ROSÉE pride themselves on being an ethical, clean beauty, organic brand. I ABSOLUTELY DON'T CARE! I'm not a fan of "clean beauty" as I think this is a SCAM. THAT SAID, I wanted to try a sun stick and the pharmacy recommended me that one.
🤏🏼FORMAT : this is a 15ml round stick with a screw cap. It simply works like a big lip balm. You twist the bottom and the balm comes out.
🤌🏼TEXTURE : this is a balm. It is easy to make it glide on the face and neck etc..It doesn't pill at all even when applying several layers.
IT IS quite greasy to be very honest. This why I use for for specific purposes (reapplication during busy outdoors activities).
🪄APPLICATION : this sun stick is super easy to use. Just make it glide on the area you want. I like to apply several layers (usually 4 or 5).
😎FILTERS :
- Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate : UVINUL A+
- Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine : TINOSORB S
- Ethylhexyl Triazone : UVINUL T 150
🤗DOESN'T STING : if you are searching for a specific sunscreen to use on sensitive areas, I really recommend this sun stick!!
🙏🏼 AMAZING FOR "FORGOTTEN" AREAS :
I use LA ROSEE's sun stick on what I call, forgotten areas:
- Ears
- Eye area (eyelids, undereye)
- Lips
- Nape
So you get the idea. I like that sun stick for helping me protecting specific areas. I think it's super convenient. That said, there are now several non sticky, non oily sun stick on the market so I will try them next time.
❌ I don't like to use this stick on my face on a daily basis. It is too greasy, I don't like that.
I use it on my face in extreme" situations when i can't use my hands at all (outdoors activities: tennis, swimming, hiking etc...)
❌This sunscreen is the perfect example as to why "clean beauty" is a marketing scam. The brand is using the same filters as any other conventional brand. And RIGHTFULLY SO. But don't you see the hypocrisy???🤣
