The most interesting thing about Kiehl’s new Retinol Serum is that it uses a powder-to-serum technology. This retinol serum comes in 2 parts that is designed for you to mix a high concentration of Pure Retinol powder with a serum base bottle to create a more optimized, newer formula. I think it’s an interesting concept of having the consumer personally mix the formula so that it’s more fresh, personally I prefer not to have to do this just in case I somehow mess it up.
It absorbs into the skin quite nicely and I haven’t seen any irritation or breakouts while using. Just a week in of using my skin was beginning to feel more smooth with less texture along my cheeks and by week 2 I could visibly see an improvement in the small fine lines I have across my forehead. Complexion appears to be slightly more even toned with a brighter, more youthful appearance.
Based off results I’ve seen over the past 2 1/2 weeks I would definitely recommend trying if you are in need of a new Retinol Serum and are dealing with major fine lines and wrinkles.
