Very gel, very thin and cooling. I think because this is not an oil heavy gel moisturizer, it doesn't immediately slide down my skin like the Atopalm Soothing Gel Lotion does.
This cream remains even a bit cooling once on my face, it's really very pleasant. It does not feel like anything once applied, does not pill into balls if I rub my face, and leaves skin feeling immediately plump and bouncy.
[Scent]
This does not contain fragrance and does not contain many plant extracts, like lavender or bergamot, so I can't detect any scent from this whatsoever.
[Conclusion]
✨This is the best moisturizer I have ever tried. EVER. It's so simple! There are no added oils, there aren't any crazy irritating actives, it just does exactly what my skin needs. I wake up without oily skin . . . waking up WITHOUT oily skin! Shooketh.
A lot of gel moisturizers try to also be enough for dry skin, but dry skin typically needs richer, more occlusive creams, so a gel texture isn't normally what's going to cut it for them.
Meanwhile, oily skin typically doesn't need added facial oils that just sit on top of skin that's already going to be producing plenty of moisture. I am just so happy this moisturizer stays in its lane and does the job excellently.
✅This moisturizer is perfect for acne-prone and oily skin types, especially during hot weather.
The tube is 1.5 fl oz, so I would reeeeeeally appreciate a larger bottle.
I also am not sure if this will provide enough moisture during the Fall and Winter (my skin type becomes combo with some dry patches), but even if this is only suitable for Summer it's still a big discovery for me, as I haven't bothered with a moisturizer during Summer for the past two years. I just whack on layers of hydration and go through toners like crazy.
I'm really struggling to come up with a caveat . . . Truly, there's nothing harmful in this that could cause irritation, unless you find yourself specifically allergic to something.
