This is the first “clean” deodorant I’ve ever tried, and when I first used it, I thought I was going to be completely unimpressed. I’m not a huge fan of the scent — a light cross between cherries and almonds — and I didn’t think I was going to get on with the thick, creamy texture. After using it for a couple of weeks, though, I can’t deny that this actually does a better job of keeping body odor away than any deodorant I’ve ever used.
I used to struggle with severe underarm smell a few years ago, and it’s still a problem I have, though not quite as bad. I find that most deodorants just do a bad job of covering body odor with their scents, which often smells worse than body odor on its own. This deodorant keeps me from smelling bad at all. I’m amazed that even when I sweat in the summer heat, the worst it’s gotten while wearing this product is a very subtle odor that I could hardly smell. For the most part, all I can detect is the light almond-cherry scent. I’ve even noticed that my clothes haven’t been left with the strong underarm smell they usually get afflicted by. Oh, and despite how it might look when you first see the cream, this deodorant is actually transparent once blended out. It’s possible that there are many more superior “clean” deodorants out there, but since this is my first foray into this category of products, I’m impressed with the results.
