This is the best gel I have tried as I don't feel the need to use anything else afterwards on my dry skin, yet it's not greasy or rich - it's just good at hydrating. I can use it overnight and my skin doesn't feel dry or greasy in the morning. That's probably why it also claims to help with sebum control, it does a good job with balancing the skin.
Another claim is that it minimizes the appearance of pores. I think that has more to do with the texture of the cream and how it looks when it's applied then any results I obtained with use. If you want a quick semi-blur effect without makeup, this will work.
