🌟 [Review: Isntree Summer Set — Yam Root Vegan Milk Cleanser] (2/3) I received this product for free from Picky and Isntree in exchange for my honest review. 🌟tl;dr: Will Repurchase Versatility of Cleanser is a Huge Plus, Gentle, Non-Stripping Cleanser 🌟 Price Point: ~SGD$20 for 220ml 🌟 Key Ingredients: Sunflower Seed Oil, Andong Yam Root Extract Fragrance, EO-Free 🌟 Texture: This cleanser is a milk-based cleanser, that has a certain level of stringiness to it — an interesting texture that I have never encountered before, as it is giving milk cleanser but with some elements of snail mucin (might be similar to how brands like vegreen are using yam as “nature mucin” as a vegan alternative to snail mucin) 🌟 Thoughts: Ngl I was initially quite confused by the texture, and did not know exactly where this product could sit in my cleansing routine, as it felt a little too gentle to replace my foaming/gel cleansers. However, as I began to use this cleanser more often, I realised how this one became a really nice one in my cleansing arsenal. This one has sunflower seed oil in it, which explains why Isntree is marketing it as a viable first cleanser (similar to cleansing oils/balms), which I realised works rather nicely for removing SPF/excess sebum, while not overly stripping my skin! (gentler than oil cleansers imo) 🌟 Verdict: 5/5 I can definitely see myself repurchasing this one, as this one feels really gentle and perfect for when my skin feels sensitised and/or I want to go for a gentle cleanse in the morning <3 The key appeal of this product for me is its versatility — I can use it as a first cleanser in the PM as well as a gentle cleanse in the AM!
