Now for the deets:
I absolutely ADORE this serum. Seriously the GOAT of healing/hydrating serums.
It has a watery texture that spreads easily. It quickly absorbs into the skin without leaving stickiness behind. There is no fragrance in the formulation but I feel like it has a natural earthy scent. Which I enjoy but if no one else experiences this…then it might just be me, haha.
This serum was clutch when I first started using retinol. I broke the cardinal rule and used it every night…and really, really damaged my skin barrier. But this ceramide barrier serum really came through and helped my skin barrier recover. I find that it layers well in my skincare routine if I take care to give time between products but can pill if I rush it (just my experience, may not be yours!)
FYI, this can be used for both AM and PM routines. I prefer to use it in my PM routine in conjunction with retinol for support. Although I will use this in my AM routine if I find that my skin needs a little extra nourishment.
All in all, this is one of my holy grails and I will shout about it near and far to anyone who needs a barrier support serum.
The only way this could be more perfect is if it came in a jumbo size!
