I received this product for free from Picky and RE:P in exchange for my honest review.
Texture ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
- Watery, gel-like consistency that immediately absorbs into the skin
- Doesn’t feel sticky at all, no messy bangs-stuck-to-face situations
- Refreshing and light
Packaging ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
- Pretty innovative ‘suction pump’ bottle! Love that it’s transparent so you can see exactly how much is left
- This could be just me, but I found it great that one pump was the exact amount I needed for my whole face
🌼 Does it do what it claims to?
This dermatologically-tested mask contains flower extracts including lavender, calendula, rose etc., all of which are meant to soothe, hydrate, and nourish the skin. Another main ingredient is refined olive oil to give long-lasting moisture and supplement the skin’s absorption of nutrients. Plus, the product is said to have anti-wrinkle and brightening benefits.
If you asked me whether this is a great sleeping mask with amazing next-day effects, short answer is, not really. On my skin, I found it to be moderately hydrating and calming. Because of how light it is, I enjoyed using this more as a daily moisturiser than as a sleeping mask, and would probably recommend it as such.
The product also has a light tea tree scent which I really like, but if you’re not a fan of fragrance, you might have to give this a pass.
