First of all, this product is just beautiful to look at. It’s a luxurious (and refillable) matte white compact with gold detailing. The primer itself is very nice, too. It melts into the skin almost instantly and isn’t mattifying so much as blurring. Overall, this is a great primer with skincare benefits for use on its own or under makeup. (I received this product for free from Bzzagent and Lancôme in exchange for my review.)

It feels a bit waxy (and it does contain wax), but otherwise it isn’t heavy. There’s quite a bit of fragrance — it’s about halfway down the ingredient list, and the scent is fairly strong, though nice: a kind of fruity floral scent.
