It takes off makeup with no effort, but does need a second rinse for waterproof makeup as it can leave miniscule traces behind. Doesn't stings your eyes when used and leaves no film residue. The balm doesn't leave your skin squeaky clean but just refreshed and clean.
Huge point to the sweet candy scent that makes it addicting to use (lowkey wanna lick it but don't let your intrusive thought win !!! 🤠🤠) and the build in scoop -- no more missing scoop.
Compared to Heimish Cleansing balm, it was on par in term of cleansing effectiveness. And the scent definitely more pleasing rather than the herbal balm.
