Torriden Dive In Mild Sun Cream is a non-nano mineral sun cream made with 100% mild zinc oxide. This sun cream is suitable for all skin types (including sensitive) and protects your skin from harmful UVA (Spf 50) and UVB (PA++++) rays.
Some key ingredients are;
- 10 types of Hyaluronic Acid - helps to moisturize and maintain hydration both on the surface and deep into your skin while protecting its barrier and improving elasticity.
- Trehalose - hydrates skin and prevents moisture loss
- Ceramide NP - protects and improves skin barrier while keeping your skin hydrated and plump.
- Witch Hazel - soothing and helps to reduce rednesss
- Aloe - natually soothing and improves hydration
- Tumeric root extract - brightens and reduces the look of hyperpigmentation
- Jojoba seed oil - hydrates, softens, and smoothes the skin while balancing natural oil production.
I actually have mixed thoughts on this product. I appreciate that its vegan, cruelty-free and its packaging & tube are made from recycled materials.
It has a smooth creamy texture and doesn't contain any fragrance. Once applied I noticed an immediate brightening effect and it leaves a matte finish on my skin. I love that it leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated without leaving any unwanted residue behind.
It does take some effort to completely absorb into your skin and leaves a slight whitecast (at first). Upon first application (and also my initial thoughts) it seems to go on like a paint - you are pretty much trying to spread a very white cream that doesn't automatically seep into your skin.
I have a very light skin tone so it blended into my skin ok (with some effort) and the white cast did turn into a natural matte finish - but I would imagine this may be an issue for those with darker tones.
