Not only are Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Dew Drops one of the most viral products out there but Glow Recipe as a whole gets a huge amount of attention.
Key ingredients:
š Niacinamide - the superstar - it brightens, supports the skin barrier, improves visible signs of aging and can help minimise the look of pores
šWatermelon - hydrates and contains and array of skin beneficial vitamins and amino acids
šHyaluronic acid - a humectant that holds 1000 times itās own weight in water by drawing moisture from the air
Of course thereās the famous tear drop shaped
pink glass bottle and practical pump. The serum itself is a milky pink coloured, thick gel and smells like watermelon (think watermelon jolly ranchers).
I just couldnāt help myself and had to see if this viral sensation was worth it. Itās designed as a multi use product, you can use it at the serum step, as a glossy finish at the end of your routine, a primer or even as a highlighter on top of your make up although please note it does not contain shimmer. Iāve been using it two ways, either as a dewy finish after my sunscreen or mixed with my BB cream to make it more sheer and hydrating.
I have to say I really like it š I kinda didnāt want to but there you have it! Personally I donāt like it as a serum so canāt comment on any skin improvements but as a skincare/make up hybrid I think it really shines!! The cons are of course the price, this doesnāt ever go on sale in Australia š and it can be a little bit sticky. So there you have it, I think if you love a dewy finish and want to treat yourself, you wonāt be disappointed but at the same time itās not necessary to spend this much to achieve great glowy skin. Itās really up to you ā¤ļø
