Mugwort is one of my favorite ingredients & wash of mask are normally not my thing, will I like the @bonajour_global Mugwort cream Calming Mask? This mask promises to soothe the skin & protects the skin from environmental stress. It is alcohol free, but contains perfuming ingredients.
First of all we have 32.2% Mugwort, which is super calming. For even more calming effects Houttuynia Cordata Extract, Willow Bark, Skullcap Root Extract, Purslane Extract, Honeysuckle Flower Extract are included, all over these above are also antioxidant rich & anti-inflammatory. For even more antioxidants Carrot Root Extract & Tocopherol are included. For hydration we have good old Glycerin & Sodium Hyaluronate && Sunflower Oil.
The mask comes in a nice squeezable tube, which I prefer over a jar. The mask has a nice rich but not to thick texture with tiny mugwort prices. The color of the mask is greenish-gray & doesn't have a strong scent, it just smells woody like most mugwort products. The application is easy & the mask doesn't dry hard & is also easy to remove.
The mugwort bits turn softer while rinsing the mask of the face, but still they you the tiniest amount of manual exfoliation. For me it has the same problem like the I'm From Mugwort Mask, I wish they excluded the mugwort bits.
Overall the mask is really calming & somewhat hydrating, it leaves my skin soft & definitely helped with calming my red & irritated skin down. Also the product is really affordable with around 10€-15€.
