Aloe Soothing Sun Cream SPF50+ PA+++

product review positives
πƒπžπ¬πœπ«π’π©ππ’π¨π§: this hybrid sunscreen combines hydration and sun protection with SPF50 PA+++ and aloe leaf extract to keep skin moisturised 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐒𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬: β€’5 SPF factors, including tinosorb s (broad spectrum, chemical sunscreen agent, very photo stable) and titanium dioxide (physical agent which covers UVB rays) β€’aloe extract helps calm irritated skin and promotes healing, whilst also being a great moisturiser 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐟𝐒𝐭𝐬: β€’broad spectrum protection from the sun β€’moisturises the skin 𝐌𝐲 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞: βœ…: Being my first SPF and from a good brand, I had high expectations. I liked how it provided my skin with sufficient protection from the sun, using both chemical and physical filters to ensure a wide protection, whilst having this lovely creamy texture - it wasn’t too thick but was enough to leave my skin moisturised. After three minutes of applying, the white cast would fade which was AMAZING because I have dark brown skin, and that was my biggest fear. It was so nice to spread around my face and work it in - I didn’t have to work it in too long. When it came to reapplying, the thin tube was very easy to carry around, and the lid made it easy to use. On hot days, I was worried it’d be too thick but I decided to skip my moisturiser and just use SPF, which made it perfect. I love how this became my two in one during the summer, and would recommend it to my dry skin babies.
product review negatives
❎: as soon as you open this, there is an overpowering smell of aloe. I have such a bad habit of missing fragrance in the ingredient list before purchasing! This did worry me as I try my hardest to avoid fragrance. At first, I believed it was my SPF causing me irritation but ended up being another product. If you have sensitive skin, maybe it’d be best to avoid this. The smell itself isn’t bad but it does linger for a bit - I actually quite enjoy the smell sometimes. However, I would prefer this SPF so much more if they got rid of the fragrance in the formulation, I hope it’s something they do for the future!
