Sheer Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30

product review positives
After much trial and error finding a Western sunscreen that checks all the right boxes for me, this mineral sunscreen really hits the jackpot. As a person with dry sensitive skin, the consistency is so light (almost feels like a light cream), and yet it still has a hydrating finish that doesn’t feel greasy, heavy, or sticky at all, which is a problem that most mineral suncreens tend to have. Even oiler skin types would appreciate this! As a person with a tan complexion, I can say that there is no white cast, which attests to the “minimal white cast” statement on the product label, and I would love to see more reviews on how it performs on darker complexions since it claims to be for all skin tones! Honestly I could go on and on about this product, it even wears well under makeup! Nowadays, I find that some newer Western sunscreens on the market are pricey for an unjustifiable amount of product, like $50 for 50ml😳. And with the rising demand for Asian sunscreens, which can be hard to get/find at times, accessibility becomes another important factor. However, this sunscreen is super affordable and the shipping (I live in Canada) is super quick, plus I got a three pack (50ml each) for $50 CAD! And for reference, their website is in USD, and one sunscreen is priced at $12 USD!
product review negatives
With only SPF 30, this sunscreen would not offer enough protection in warmer, humid climates. However, this is still a great fall/winter sunscreen and can even be used all year round in places that are drier with less sunshine! It does have a distinct “sunscreen” smell which can be a big thing for some, but it dissipates (or becomes less strong) after a few minutes following application!
