The texture is super smooth & spreads so fast & well over the entire face with a very faint green smell . I left it on for 5 mins not more because I have dry sensitive skin & didn't want to over exfoliate. It washes of so easily!! Not like many wash off masks I have where you literally have to drown your face in a bucket to get it all off, and end up over exfoliating by over rubbing.
I had tiny bit of a break out of 3 tiny pimple on my chin & upper lip. And this wash off mask reduced the redness & tightened my pores. It did not leave my skin feeling "stripped" of moisture & nor produce the tight feeling one normally associate with volcanic clay masks.
My skin felt smooth & soft and the pimples didn't look so angry after masking. It is gentle enough to use more often than my other clay masks. I like that it washes off effortlessly, saving precious time & water!!
I would recommend this for oily acne prone dehydrated skin & dry sensitive & redness prone skin.
