Beauty of Joseon is Korean skincare brand inspired by 19th century encyclopedia which describes skincare secrets of upper class Korean women. The brand is cruelty-free and uses luxurious Oriental herbs to create natural high quality products.
Ginseng Essence Water is moisturizing toner infused with 80% ginseng root water as well as uniquely formulated ginseng complex that nourishes the skin and keeps it hydrated and revitalized.

I’ve heard so many great things about this brand and their products and was really excited to finally try my first Beauty of Joseon product!
It’s been just about a week since I’ve started using it, so I can’t tell it made any visible difference to my skin so far, and my review is going to be me more of a “first impression”.
The essence has quite liquid texture, beautiful amber colour and no smell. It absorbs easily into my skin without any residue and leaves my skin soft, smooth, hydrated and nourished. I also noticed a bit of a sebum control effects as my oily skin doesn’t get greasy as fast as it usually does.
The essence is made of only safe EWG green certified ingredients, is non-irritating and suitable for all skin types.
The product also claims anti-wrinkle benefits, but it would definitely need to be used for a while to see any change there.
Overall, I’m quite enjoying this essence so far, definitely gonna continue using it and would love to try more Beauty of Joseon products now!
