I'm at the age where I need to add retinol into my routine because of the claims that are needed by my skin. but because I'm still a beginner in retinol world, I ended up choosing skintific as my first.
*as far as I know, they also have serum version for this, but I'm more interested to the moisturizer ones.

It was in a jar and looks luxury because it has gold color with @30gr in it. it also contains mini spatula in it, which can be helpful and makes it more hygiene while about to take the products out.
⚜️ Texture/Scent
The texture is gel and had some gold beads which is from encapsulated retinol that will be melted once I rub them on my face. It has floral scent imo, and fortunately it's not that strong and still tolerable.
⚜️ Experience
a gentle moisturizer that are beginner and sensitive skin friendly even though it has minimum fragrance (which I don't know if it's artificial fragrance or natural by the ingredients itself) but it doesn't trigger the redness on my skin (but please keep it in mind that everything depends on each skin even though we might look same by having sensitive skin, but doesn't mean it won't be gentle as well because each other's sensitivity is different... so make sure to do patch test before using it to avoid skin irritated or any negative reactions).
Because the texture is gel, of course oily skin gonna loves it since it won't leave tacky feeling, and fast absorbing.. but in my opinion it doesn't feel moisturizing enough especially because retinol only can be used at night, then at night time usually my skincare routine will be more heavy than the A.M routine, so I prefer using the thick moisturizer at night.
But since I'm using this gel moisturizer, I would layer them with my basic moisturizer that are having thicker consistency.
For the effect that I got while I'm using this gentle retinol gel moisturizer, I only feel that my skin become bouncy. but it probably because I only use one jar, so other than that I didn't see any significant result.
Things that I don't like from this gel moisturizer is that the inner lid that are stuck often every time I'm trying to open it, it takes few times of usage for me to notice that this moisturizer actually have spatula in it! 😑😑
Even though it's said that the amount is 30gr, but I feel like the amount is too little.. not only this moisturizer but also another products by skintific that I've tried so far.. so it feels like it ran out easily meanwhile its kinda pricey.
I personally not gonna repurchase because I want to try a serum version from another brand.
