Packaging/Texture: 15g/0.52oz white plastic tube with blue top. Sunscreen has a soft balm texture and no noticeable scent.
My Experience: I was interested in trying this mineral sunscreen to use for reapplication during the day. Since it is small in size, it is easy to carry around in my purse or in a pocket. I do prefer chemical or hybrid sun protection products since the usually don’t have a white cast. All of the mineral sunscreens I’ve tried leave a cast, and I have light skin.
I did experience a slight white cast when I initially tried the Benton sun stick, but only because I applied too much. It did fade after a few minutes, but when I applied in light layers I didn’t notice a cast. This sun stick glides on the skin easily, leaves a matte finish and is not sticky. I think it is intended for oilier skin types, as I found it a little bit drying. Since it claims to be sweat proof and waterproof, I will try it out in the summer months.
