⚪️How to use: Apply it evenly to create the look of smooth, voluminized lips.
⚪️Main ingredients: Shea Butter (occlusive), Butylene glycol (humectant), Petrolatum (occlusive), Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate (brightening and anti-aging), Citric Acid (exfoliant, anti-aging), Betaine Salicylate (acne-fighting).
⚪️First impression: Girl! This stings like hell! And there’s definitely some plumbing effect. Maybe too lightweight for my dry eczema-prone lips.
⚪️Final thoughts: I bought this one because I fancied something with chemical exfoliants for my lips. I didn’t care about the voluminizing effect, but the stinging sensation of the voluminizing ingredients does bother me. I also hoped it had stronger acids in it, such as salicylic acid and lactic acid, because I wanted to replace my lip scrub with this. I don’t like to use it during the day because the acids in it make my skin more sensitive to sunlight. I don’t feel it’s thick and moisturizing enough to use it as a sleeping pack. I ended up using it some nights before my night routine, but it wasn’t good enough. All in all, I think this lip balm is not worth it, specially for its price. I’m not going to repurchase it.
As I said before, I think it stings too much, the acids aren’t strong enough and it’s not moisturizing enough
