Scent: An aquatic, mildly sweet fruity-floral. Kind of like a minty pear. Quite refreshing.
This has a low-foam lather and isn't too drying when used sparingly.
Let me tell you why this doesn’t work.
Before first use, the cleansing stick looks like a jumbo tube of lip balm. It has that soft solid appearance. However, this gradually deteriorates as you get into using it regularly. Following the instructions, I rubbed the balm directly over my wet face, on my T-zone. That was entirely too much product! It became a bit sudsy, but ultimately ended up making my face feel tight and dry afterwards.
Second try, I swiped the stuff only on my forehead. A more suitable amount of product was dispensed, but the cleanser dissolved from my wet skin and ended up stinging my eyes!
Finally, I’ve resorted to just using my fingertips to getting the cleanser goo to activate by rubbing my damp hands together. (Yes, exactly like how you’d deal with regular, tubed facial wash.) And that’s when it finally started working properly.
