“I received this product for free from Picky and MIXSOON in exchange for my honest review.”
I thought I found the PERFECT sunscreen for my skin, but unfortunately I was wrong and I’ll tell you why! 👀
..But let’s talk about this product first:
👉🏻 This sunscreen comes in a 50 ml plastic bottle in a carton box, all so whitey with a pinch of mint green, which is pretty and pleasing to the eye in my opinion.
👉🏻 The texture is a light white cream, so easy to spread and to massage on the skin.
👉🏻 The scent is 100% lavender, so if you don’t like this fragrance you should probably skip that sunscreen – I love lavender but I think it’s a bit too much.
👉🏻 What about filters?
This sunscreen contains only chemical filters such as
▫️ Mexoryl SX (against UVA)
▫️ Uvinul T 150 (against UVB)
▫️ Parsol SLX (against UVB)
▫️ Uvinul A Plus (against UVA)
▫️ Tinosorb S (against UVA and UVB)
👉🏻 As previously said, this cream can be easily spread all over the face without any effort and its absorption is almost immediate, it just needs a quick massage.
👉🏻 It leaves no white cast, but I’m pretty pale so I suggest you to read some reviews written by people with darker skins compared to mine to know if this product suits you.
👉🏻 Another big bonus: absolutely no pilling, not even with reapplications.
👉🏻 Well, after all this excursus, why did I previously say this is not a perfect sunscreen for me?
I tried it for days and every single time it tingled my skin for minutes, like it was irritating my face – which looked more red than usual. 😳
I felt sometimes itching, sometimes burning, sometimes tingling and there wasn’t a day I didn’t feel something like that while applying and wearing this sunscreen.
I think this happened due to the lavender essential oil that – beside the calming properties – I think it was a bit too much for my skin to handle. 🥺
Beside that, there are several fragrances in this sunscreen and I cannot recommend it to sensitive skin, even if it contains Centella Asiatica – which has calming, soothing, anti-inflammatory properties... but that’s not enough.
👉🏻 If your skin’s not sensitive to fragrances or essential oils, I DEFINETELY suggest you to try this sun cream because it’s a great one: lightweight, no pilling, no white cast, easily absorbed.
Oh, I didn’t mention the natural slightly glowy finish… It looks like you’re not wearing sunscreen at all. 🤩
I’m so sorry for my skin’s reaction to it because I immediately fell in love with this sunscreen! 😭
Please MIXSOON, I need an unscented version!!
