🌻 This claims to be a “fast-absorbing, non-greasy, water- and sweat-resistant, reef-safe, and broad-spectrum SPF 50 lotion for the face and body.” The formula is enriched with beta-carotene laden Sunflower Extract to protect skin from external environmental elements and Rosemary Leaf Extract to calm the skin and release antioxidants.
🌻 This has a lotiony texture and a dewy finish, and a distinct scent of citrus, basil, and bois de rose that I’m not very fond of (there’s a sharp note in there that I don’t particularly enjoy) though it’s not a total dealbreaker.
🌻 It feels comfortable on the skin, lightweight but nourishing (for my dry skin) with no sting, even around the eyes.
There are two things I’m not fond of: first, the formula separates when the contents of the tube settle (I alternate this with another sunscreen) and second, this greases up my face after a couple of hours — I’ve encountered very few products that manage to do this with my dry skin, but yeah apparently I can turn into a greaseball.
🌻 I’ve tried the Unseen Sunscreen which has the opposite effect: so mattifying my face feels like it’s not moving. That one I prefer as primer. 😅 Not sure if they have a variant that hits the middleground, though at this point I’m well stashed in sunscreens (and now I have a couple just for indoor use 😫) so I’m not looking to buy SPF this year, and besides I think this costs more than I usually spend on SPF.
