Mandelic Acid Gentle Exfoliating Toner

product review positives
This “MANDELIC ACID 5% SKIN PREP WATER” is a toner with watery texture and stands true to its name . 💦 Helps prepare your skin for remaining #skincare , #makeup routine . Primary ingredient : Mandelic acid 5% I.e. bitter almond extract (AHA) , significantly low acid concentration makes this product sensitive skin friendly . Still a patch test is always a good idea 💡 , anyway it’s alcohol free and claims to work irrespective of skin type . Must have if you are pro AHA , but should be used cautiously to avoid overdose of acids . Must be used after cleanser and works similar to a mild chemical exfoliator coz of the acidic properties . AHA does not deep penetrate in skin like BHA but still manages to remove dead skin cells and reduce appearance of pores , acne scars, pigmentation with regular usage .
product review negatives
🤨Felt slight tingling after first use , didn’t feel it again thus far . 😇Smells bit acidic as soon as you open and dissipates soon ,not a turn off as such . 🤓Have patience to see results on pigmentation, pores and acne, it won’t disappoint you . Took me around a month to notice the change , however it starts making skin softer from its day of debut with you . 🥳🤩

I'm glad I'm not the only one who felt the tingle 😅 was the first time I had tried Mandelic acid too so I wasn't sure what to expect but I'm glad it didn't last.
