Didn&#39;t notice much brightening, but it was moisturizing and pleasant to use. Sometimes a bit sticky and hard to work into the skin. Causes pilling with some products.

EDIT: I recently discovered the Body Shop is secretly an MLM (multilevel marketer, aka a pyramid scheme), and therefore will no longer support them.

It is quite hydrating and did not make my skin sensitive or angry like some vitamin c products. Gorgeous packaging and a light floral scent. Spreads easily and has a watery consistency.
