Melanon X Cream
- It contains some great ingredients to fight hyperpigmentation: arbutin, tranaxemic acid, licorice extract, niacinamide, vitamin c to name some.
- packaging is an aluminium tube, I like it, it's simple but works well and reduce waste.
- very nice moisturising texture but does not feel occlusive.
- It burnt my skin off, left it red and sore and my melasma got worse.
- the amount of fragrance is headache inducing .. why would anyone want to spread perfume on their face!?! Maybe it's contributed to the irritation it caused to my skin!?
- witch hazel: I know it works for many oily skinned people but I never loved this ingredient, does not agree with my skin and it is potentially irritating.
- did nothing good for my skin apart from making it red and angry and I am now using it as a hand cream because I don't want to waste it!
Bottom line: they had a great opportunity to create a great product but ruined it by adding irritants in a cream aimed at people suffering from hyperpigmentation... I don't get it... Perfume and other sensitising ingredients are probably the last thing you want when you are trying to improve pigmentation issues, you want gentle and effective.
Sorry it misses the mark!
