This toner was all the rage on the web a few weeks back, so naturally, I had to try it, too. My skin is dry and on the sensitive side.
Like you do with a toner, it is applied after the balm/oil and cleanser on your clean face. It absorbs into the skin in no time and leaves it feeling plump and moisturized. I like how it is light, almost watery, but not too runny. It does not feel like you are just applying a mist to your face, but you can tell that the ingredients (fermented black rice extract, bamboo shoot bark extract, ginseng root extract and hyaluronic acid) sink in immediately and leave your face calm and ready for the next step in your routine.
I always apply toner with my palms, as I think a cotton pad wastes too much of the product, but of course, that is a personal preference.
The toner is fragrance, alcohol and cruelty-free and vegan.
A pump would have been nice, or a lid that doesn’t screw off. Once you have the product in your one hand, you cannot close the bottle with the other, as you need to hold it, too.
