Claims: A 24-hour healthy glow serum foundation with buildable medium coverage with SPF 27, to hydrate and smooth skin for a natural glowing finish
I have fair skin with yellow undertones and selected the shade 120N, which is a good match for my skin. This foundation comes in a sturdy glass bottle and he texture is creamy yet lightweight, which works for me because I have combination skin. ~1/2 teaspoon was enough to cover my whole face using a wet beauty sponge. The product is medium coverage as claimed and made my skintone more even by covering approximately most of my skin redness (I have sensitive skin). I was pleased to notice that the coverage is buildable without resulting in a cakey look. The added glycerin, hyaluronic acid, mandelic acid, and SPF 27 are nice to have in a makeup product that I use every work day.
What I didn't like about this product:
- Very pricey for the amount you get: $57 for 30 mL
- The finish is more matte than glowy as advertised
- Contains fragrance, which is quite noticeable but not overwhelming.
- Contains alcohol and feels a bit drying on the skin
- Does not live up to its claim of a 24h wear as it starts looking cakey and separate after approximately 10 hours of wear
Overall I prefer cheaper drugstore foundation over this expensive one.
