With its soap-free formulation, it doesn't lather much so I prefer to dampen my palms before dispensing 1-3 pumps, slightly lather it & proceed to cleanse my face. I don't normally use cleansers in my AM routine but I now do with this since it is super mild & doesn't sting my eyes. My face doesn't feel tight after cleansing.
