I just recently found out that the Glow Screen has two shades, Sunrise and Golden Hour. Sunrise (unnamed on the packaging) is definitely the closest to my medium skin tone. Golden Hour (named on the packaging) is deeper than medium based on my observation.
I have applied using 2 finger method, dabbing equal amounts on different parts of my skin and also using a round sponge. My preferred method is by dabbing onto my skin as the two finger method can be too much and the sponge method feels like it stays on top of my skin as a layer.
The sunscreen is definitely moisturizing and long-lasting of it. The sunscreen is advertized as a primer but I basically use it as a replacement for foundation in my daily makeup look. I would wait for the sunscreen to sit then apply my makeup products on top, which works great as a base and blends with other products fine.
I would definitely recommend this to medium skin tones. Use it however you prefer but I suggest setting with powder and or setting spray. Reapply with a sun stick even though it leaves a residue on it.
However, the Glow Screen stings my eyes to the point of me shedding tears. I overcame this predicament by using a normal chemical SPF beforehand then applying Glow Screen on top and avoiding the eye area. Although this shade was close to my skin tone, it makes me look like a bronze statue with a grey-ish undertone. The glaze is so strong so I need to set it with setting powder and setting spray to calm the glow. I love the glow but not to the point of my skin glazed like a rotisserie chicken. I don’t recommend reapplying as I tried it and the grey undertone becomes way more obvious. Its not worth looking dusty and crying from the sting.
