🧚🏻♀️ It Cosmetics CC+ Cream - Fair Ivory (W) ✨
I received this product from @itcosmetics and @bzzagent in exchange for my honest review.
☀️ APPLICATION TIPS ☀️
Being light handed; a little goes a long way. Start with half a pump and only use more as needed. Press gently into the skin with a brush or sponge. I use the brand’s 115 brush.
☀️ WEAR ☀️
I would consider this to have medium coverage. It feels lightweight and does excellent job of evening out skin tone. The finish is natural and leaves the skin glowing. I use a small amount of setting powder on my nose and chin to increase wear time. It will last 8 hours before requiring a touch up.
☀️ INGREDIENTS ☀️
The formula is silicone-based, so keep this in mind if using a primer. Standout ingredients include snail mucin, hyaluronic acid, peptides, colloidal oatmeal, niacinamide, adenosine, and silk extract. There is a slight citrus smell from essential oils.
☀️ COMMENTS ☀️
The shade range was expanded from 11 to 22 shades (still limited but a dramatic improvement). The darker shades use a chemical SPF to avoid white cast. There are travel sizes available. I tried the Fair (W) shade in the past and loved the formula, but I did not repurchase because it was too dark. Fair Ivory (W) is a much better match.
Application method is crucial to avoid undesirable results. The formula is highly pigmented for a CC Cream and overuse results in a “cakey’ look. IT Cosmetics advertises this product as SPF 50, but no reasonable person would apply enough to achieve this level of protection. For this reason, I highly recommend using SPF under this product.
