I love Korean skincare a lot and it sometimes can be quite overwhelming with the number of PRs received plus getting to try out new Korean skincare brands that I've never heard or seen before. I'm familiar with Abib, Innisfree, Atopalm, and the list goes on and on but you know, the Korean skincare market is so huge, it's like I'm walking in a vast desert with treasure chests buried everywhere, I don't know where should I start looking. That's how overwhelmed i am. Sometimes, when I want to buy a toner or a cleansing water, i get really indecisive. So many brands, so many to choose from!
As someone who wears light makeup and has sensitive skin too, finding a good cleansing water is not easy. Nowadays, there are many cleansing water and makeup removers with chemicals, fragrances and so on, it gets tiresome for me to find the right one.
Luckily, I received a vegan cleansing water from Bibali Korea, an online Korean store which sells Korean skincare and food products. You can find them easily on Shopee too. Just search Bibali.korea.my or Bibali.korea.sg . This vegan cleansing water was huge in size and it was from a brand which I didn't know about. But after doing some reading online, I found it was a good and trusted vegan brand although they were newly established in August, 2019. In other words, this cleansing water was right up my alley!

🌊About JEJU Badang Vegan Cleansing Water 300 ml:
A vegan-certified, earth-friendly cleansing water formulated with Jeju lava seawater and made with pure ingredients. It's free of harmful ingredients, fragrances and it's a hypoallergenic cleansing water with a slightly acidic formulation of pH5.5. This weak acidic cleansing water makes makeup removal a breeze!

Jeju Lava seawater👉Pure, clean water (with almost no organic substances and pathogens) made by natural filtration of volcanic bedrock that can only be obtained from Jeju Island, a volcanic island.

🌊Packaging:
The unit carton has a beautiful and artistic blue design which I find it appealing. It has a recycled cardboard feel and information is featured on all sides. There are some small details found on the top of this box and simple typography is printed in blue ink to complement the overall design of the box. However, the box features very little English information and I had to use Google Translator to translate everything😂 (I need to brush up on my Korean language skills.)
Moving on to the bottle which holds 300 ml of cleansing water (What a generous amount!), the bottle shares the similar design as its unit carton. Again, I like the bluish art design on its label. It's really beautiful and gives me a calm feeling when I look at it. Most of the information on the bottle is in Korean. I think they should feature more English information for international customers though.
The bottle has a flip-type cap and its transcluency is appreciated by me because I can easily view how much liquid is in there. The liquid dispenses well, I've no issues with that. Although it's a large bottle, it's still perfect for bringing it on road trips as the material is sturdy (Made of plastic).
🌊Scent:
It's hard for me to describe the scent but one thing I know it's that it doesn't smell like alcohol and it doesn't have any off-putting scent. Instead, it has a pleasant scent.

Most of the time, I wear light makeup so I don't always have trouble looking for the right makeup remover or cleansing water. Unfortunately, I have sensitive skin so that makes choosing the right makeup remover more difficult. Moreover, it's hard to find a good makeup remover with no harmful ingredients, scentless, good cleansing performance, and have only good ingredients added to it. Thanks to Bibali Korea, I received the JEJU Badang Vegan Cleansing Water which is a vegan cleansing water free of harmful ingredients and fragrance. What's more, It's a mild acidic cleansing water with a pH value of 5.5. How fantastic!
After a typical day as usual, I poured out an appropriate amount of cleansing onto a cotton pad and swiped it against my skin. I love how it makes my skin feel so refreshing and clean. It also didn't irritate my skin and it thoroughly removed the dirt on my face. I could see all the makeup and dirt on the cotton pad. Afterwards, I followed up with the Jeju Badang Vegan Foaming Cleanser (Also gifted by Bibali Korea). The result was a radiant, cleaner and fresh looking skin. I really love this cleansing water. Its performance was amazing.
As this brand is newly founded in 2019 and it carries so many benefits, I personally feel like their skincare products, especially the Jeju Badang Vegan Cleansing Water is underrated. I hardly see this brand on all social media platforms that I'm active on and do hope that this brand will be marketed highly, recognised and loved by many like how Innisfree and Abib, and many others are. Jejurepublic's products deserve the same recognition as other major Korean skincare brands.
To cap it all, the Jeju Badang Vegan Cleansing Water was just my cup of tea. It truly was a good cleansing water and it lived up to my satisfactions. I had not experienced a single issue when using it. It's a winner in all areas and I'm rating it a 5/5 stars!
