Fourth Ray’s Raydiate is a biphase serum formulated with Vitamin C, camu camu and turmeric for a brighter, more luminous complexion. It has a 15% Vitamin C blend in the form of a stabilized ester, so no oxidation issues.
🌞This is easily the most photogenic products I’ve ever owned, and I am glad it’s a stabilized formula because the clear bottle really showcases it, not to mention not having to deal with the heartbreak over an oxidized serum. The water based serum is a lovely vermillion, with the golden oil component floating on top.
🌞 I use this in my morning routine — I prefer a morning serum with an actual Vitamin C derivative because I feel like I need the antioxidants for sun exposure during my morning commute, and my skin is just basically happier with Vitamin C slotted in. I shake it before I use it, about half a dropper in between my essence and day moisturizer. This is a bit slippy but not heavy, and I like how biphase serums give me an extra layer of emollient for daytime. This absorbs along with my moisturizer, so no problems on that end. Experienced no irritation or funky hotdog smell (it smells citrusy) with this product, and it doesn’t sting over active zits or dry patches.
🌞 I find it works at brightening, not just on overall skintone and. added radiance, but also on hyperpigmentation, which is always a concern for me. I didn’t have any other brightening serums slotted in during the first three weeks and the spots I was working on during that time faded considerably.
🌞 This is also quite affordable at $16/30ml
