Retinol 0.2% in Squalane

product review positives
Reviewing: The ordinary retinol 0,2% in squalane My experience: This is the first retinol I’ve ever used. It was a good idea to start with this one, it’s gentle because of the low %. I also experienced almost no purging. The downside of the low % is that it didn’t have much effect. But it still helped, after the purging I got less breakouts and some hyperpigmentation became less visible. The serum is really sensitive, it has to be refrigerated, out of the sun and has a PAO of only 3 months. The product that’s left in the packaging is all that was over after consistent use for 3 months! Texture: It’s a oil. Some tips for using: ~Use in the PM ~Always apply sunscreen in the morning and trough the day ~Build up product usage; first once a week and increase if skin tolerates it ~Apply at least 1 hour before sleeping, it doesn’t absorb well

Dry/Resilient

I have the 0.5 one and it works great for me. although once I'm done with it in not gonna repurchase: I'm a bit tired of the oily sensation

Dry/Sensitive

this gentle one seems like it would be a good first try for me. I have very sensitive skin and really want to get my skin use to retinol. the PAO is a shame though!
