First time reviewing Dr. Althea product and I'm just so excited!!! A first look at it reveals a very high-end-like packaging and boy, do I love owning luxury skincare products 😬😂 I've been hearing this brand and remember seeing it on E-commerce platforms but I wasn't interested about it, so I didn't buy any of their products. At that time, I was into other skincare brands hence, I can get very indecisive over which brand and product to pick. The thing is, the K-Beauty market has grown so rapidly and have developed so fast that the products they make just get better and better. With changes in formulas, new ingredients discovered, researched and then added, it's literally no surprise that a regular consumer like me can be at a crossroad! 'Help me pick which product is good for my current skin issue!' Me screaming frantically. How on earth do I know which skincare product is best? The truth is, there is no best product because everyone of them is good in their own way. We just have to research, try out what we've bought or received and then, give our final judgement.
Now back to my first Dr.Althea product, this one is an anti-aging cream which is unlike other aging creams I've tried. This cream is made with Edelweiss extract and the texture part is my favourite. I'll let you know why soon because I want to write a brief intro about this great brand.

This is an anti-aging cream which provides anti-aging & anti-oxidant effects, improvement in skin elasticity and moisture in tired and aging skin. Thus, helping to create a moist and glossy skin. Made with Leontipodium Alpinum Extract, the cream helps with wrinkles and elasticity. It's free of 20 toxic ingredients, contains Peptides, Salmon Egg Extract, and Hyaluronic acid to fill every part of the skin with collagen and moisture.
The cream also has moisturizing ingredients combined in the mixture, keeping the skin hydrated. The long-stretchy texture, but not sticky, allows the cream to deeply penetrate into the skin and form an even surface. The name ‘sculpting’ comes from this, meaning that the cream will ‘sculpt’ your face to the desired lifted facial shape.

🤍Texture:
It has a slightly whipped texture, lightweight, creamy, sticky that it stretches (My most favourite part about this texture), and it absorbs fast without leaving any greasy or a tacky finish on the skin. This is so new to me, you know? Usually, creams with a sticky texture tend to make the skin feel sticky but this cream is definitely on a whole new level. Moreover, playing with its texture made me feel a little addicted to it because I like to see it being stretched. It just looks gooey and satisfying to the eyes. Anyone here can relate?
🤍Packaging:
The unit carton has a minimalist design. It doesn't look fancy and simple typography which is printed with soy ink, is found around the box. The front of the box has a round hole which a postcard of the mountainous view is placed there as the image for the front design. At the back of the post card is a writing about the product itself. Instructions are found at the back and sides in English and Korean.
Opening the box up, my eyes are greeted by the most luxurious packaging design which blew my mind! The cream is tubbed in a jar with complete white marble design and tne entire packaging looks exquisite and it's very beautiful to the eyes to look at. There's no small details found on the jar except for the brand and product's name printed in front and manufacture details on the back in bold typography. The jar also comes with a spatula so that's good news for me. At least, I don't have to dip a finger into the cream.
By the way, this is the first time I've ever seen a jar looking so beautiful! I'm just so enthralled by the beauty of this jar!
The jar has a screw-type cover and a pulley tab. Removing the tab is one of the most beautiful, yummy looking texture I've seen. I like how it looks so gooey, whipped and creamy! The jar is small, making it a perfect companion for holidays and it looks so gorgeous to be given as a gift to a loved one. It also looks very luxe when I place it anywhere in my house: countertops, desk top, you name it. This marble design jar is lit!

It smells a bit like my Shea butter lotion. Nothing unpleasant at all.

The Dr. Althea Rapid Firm Sculpting Cream aims to moisturise, reduce signs aging and make your face appear more youthful with a more elastic skin instedd of saggy or old-looking skin. To be honest, I haven't got wrinkles yet but I have dry skin and dull skin so I could still benefit from this cream as it contains Salmon Egg Extract.
I use it twice per several days and absolutely love the texture because it's so stretchy, I had fun with it. During the course of using it, my skin appeared soft, dewy, moisturised and had a natural, healthy glow. I really loved it so much and my skin looked even better when I layered it with my sunscreen and light foundation.
Moreover, I like how it's free of 20 toxic ingredients and it doesn't contain fragrance like other moisturisers do. It has all the good ingredients instead, and the packaging design is really high-end looking. I've not seen any packaging as this one and I find myself so obsessed with it. (I love marbled designs!) The cream didn't clog my pores nor did it irritate my skin. As someone who has sensitive skin, I find the Dr. Althea Rapid Firm Sculpting Cream to my liking and suitability.
I highly recommend this cream to those with aging or sensitive skin as it might do wonders for your skin.
