The Green Tea Fresh Toner is a new product for me, as I haven’t really used many products from this brand (except the Sunscreen & Yam cleanser)
It is a toner containing 80% Jeju Green Tea extract plus Anti Sebum P(HD) that claims to replenish moisture & control excess sebum. It also contains Centella Asiatica & blueberry extract to reinforce the skin barrier & relieve stressed skin.
Key Ingredients:
▪️ Green Tea Extract
▪️ Ginkgo Biloba leaf Extract
▪️ Centella Asiatica
▪️ Willow bark Extract
▪️ Blueberry Extract
▪️ Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid
▪️ Allantoin
Packaging/Texture: 200ml plastic bottle with stopper. Toner has a watery texture with herbal scent and is color of brewed tea (brown)
My Experience: I wanted to try this toner because I recently traveled to Japan where I was wearing a face mask for 12+ hours a day. My skin was stressed and irritated. I love how soothing and gentle this toner feels on the skin, reducing redness & soothing any irritation.
It absorbs quickly without any stickiness and works well with other products.
I like the antioxidant properties of green tea and some of the other ingredients are also beneficial for dry skin, but it isn’t super hydrating.
This toner is best for oily/combo/sensitive or blemish prone skin. Longleaf pine, Ulmus, Evening Primrose & Arrowroot extracts are for sebum control, and I think it is best used in Summer or warm climates because of the cooling, refreshing effect on the skin.
I used this in AM only since I don’t need the sebum control plus it contains a few astringent ingredients. Overall, it is a nice toner, especially if you have damaged your skin barrier and need to revitalize stressed, red or irritated skin.
