• The Jeju:en Hyaluronic Acid Sleeping Mask has a bouncy jelly texture. It appears mostly clear with a hint of turquoise.
• This uses sea water from Jeju Island in South Korea. Studies show that the sea water is rich in special minerals which helps boost hydration and moisture, firm and lift skin, balance oil-water levels, reduce inflammation, and heal wounds.
• Other notable ingredients include niacinamide (brightening, anti-acne, pore care), glycerin (moisturizing), sodium hyaluronate (moisturizing), and adenosine (barrier repair, anti-inflammatory).
• The sleeping mask hydrates and moisturizes skin overnight. It makes my skin look more plump and healthier in the morning.
• This is a good occlusive because it forms a barrier on skin. This traps water and moisture in, preventing them from evaporating.
• The product uses a glass jar packaging and it comes with a plastic spatula (which I somehow lost).
• This sleeping mask may not be the best for very sensitive skin since it has alcohol and fragrance. I use this at the last step of my routine so the layers of toners, serums, and moisturizer protect my skin from the drying effects of alcohol.
• This, unfortunately, leaves a greasy and sticky residue on my oily skin. This makes my face stick to my pillow and blanket, and that feels gross.
