Superfood Enriched Daily Moisturizer

Well, well, well...this daily moisturizer is okay. I took advantage of their BOGO deals during the holiday. Plus, it was one of Gleamin's latest products. It contains very good ingredients including desert lime and turmeric for brightening effect. It was lightweight and it can be used twice a day (no pilling with the sunscreen that I used). Somewhat moisturizing thanks to hyaluronic acid. A little goes a long way so I was very satisfied at first. But that's when it starting to get complicated.

The only down side is that it doesn't fare well with "sticky" products based on product pilling. I tried to use my Vitamin C serum from another brand and minimize the stickiness for 5 minutes before using this moisturizer. Without the serum, no pilling whatsoever. For that reason, I will try a serum out on my stomach for the small surgical scars and look around for a non-sticky serum that contains Vitamin C and other good ingredients on my face. ANOTHER UPDATE: Started February 28th, Gleamin has discontinued Superfood Enriched Daily Moisturizer along with their other previous products (except the mask) to revamp their look and change their formulas. Right now, the cleanser is the only product that has yet to be re-launched (the preview looks very promising, though) while others are out already so hopefully very soon. Once I get my hands on their revamped products, I will make reviews about them so stay tuned. 💜

UPDATE: I have started to use less of this moisturizer due to the mildew smell (no mold, luckily) along with the pilling texture (without any products). Plus, it doesn't gave me the glow that I was hoping for. But it only happened when I moved on to the second jar that I held on until my first jar was finished. For that reason, I will knock down two stars based on inconsistency. From now on, I may (or may not) purchase only one jar in the future, especially when the weather cools down (less moist in my apartment). If you are still interested in trying this moisturizer out, please make sure that your environment is okay along with getting one jar just to be on the safe side. If the texture is off, please reach out to Gleamin immediately since their customer service is amazing. Take care. 💜
