This is such a classic, solid product and the hype around it is so well deserved. I was worried that as someone with mostly oily skin, this would be too rich for me but it has earned a spot in my night time routine for my dry cheeks, especially when I’m sandwiching retinol. The texture is rich and creamy, but still somehow lightweight and absorbs quickly without leaving a sticky residue. There is no added fragrance but this cream does have a light scent that is not offending at all, it’s a bit plant-like to me. It boasts a pH level of 5.5 which is optimal for the skin and Neopharm’s patented MLE technology is the shining star to help create a membrane on the skin to help protect and nourish while also promoting a stronger skin barrier. The packaging is very simple and I especially love that the boxes are made from eco-friendly paper that is free of elemental chlorine and printed with soy ink.
I was most excited to receive this product because of my daughter. She has eczema-prone skin and I had been noticing some small flare-ups with the changing weather. This cream is like a second skin and you’d never know that she has skin issues. We were most successful when applying this in very light, quickly absorbing layers to her trouble spots (neck, armpits, knees, ankles, etc). I’ll be stocking up on this cream as well as the lotion to use under it. If you have irritated, dry skin and are looking for something to not just soothe and hydrate but actually repair your skin, I’d highly recommend @atopalm_global MLE Cream or any product with Neopharm’s MLE technology.
