11Huesday - PickyKeWe review for V-Renewal Bakuchiol Serum

I received two multi-taskers in a purple dress as gifted PR: 🟣V-Renewal Bakuchiol Serum (30ml) 🟣V-Renewal Bakuchiol Cream (50ml) by a retailer I love. This will obviously be about the cream: both products contain their Volume Renewal RX+ blend: bakuchiol (1%), 3 types of collagen, peptide-complex and retinol. They combine wellaging ingredients in a rather gentle formulation and after a few weeks of use, I noticed a nice firming effect, especially in my jawline. The serum has a creamy, milky yet lightweight texture and that distinctive bakuchiol-smell (it‘s unscrnted): I‘d describe it as a little chalky, but sweet… but it doesn‘t linger. It sinks in nicely and feels hydrating, not drying at all. -I guess it would be ok on skin that’s a little oilier than my dehydrated combo-skin too. The bakuchiol and retinol-combo makes it gentle enough for retinoid (Vitamin A)- beginners, peptides support collagen/elastin production and the humectants, the 3 types of collagen, ceramides and other ingredients like Vitamin E, Adenosine and Allantoin give my skin a soft and supple feeling. I really like the results so far and will definitely keep using the serum… It contains Dimethicone, which isn’t an issue for me (a silicone-based polymer that helps against water loss), but I know some of you keep an 👁️ on that… ☂️Does that ingredient combo sound great to you or do you prefer using simpler formulations? Remember: Whenever you’re using retinol, even in a lower percentage, please don’t forget to wear your SPF religiously!
