Hydra-Essentiel HA² Night Cream

product review positives
✨Clarins Hydra-Essentiel Night✨ Ingredients & Claims🤍 🔹Hyaluronic Acid - “Hyaluronic Power Complex” to preserve moisture 🔹Leaf of Life Extract - boosts hydration mechanisms 🔹Squalane - plant-based, smoothes dehydrated lines, reinforces hydrolipidic film Experience🤍 I received a deluxe sample of this product for free from @topbox @clarinscanada in exchange for my honest review. Seeing the claims of “60 seconds to plumper skin”, I was skeptical to see how this would work. I don’t think I really see a major reduction in lines after each use but it is a very nice night cream nonetheless. I was able to get about 5 uses out of this sample and I was pleasantly surprised at the texture – it’s almost balm-like with the way it soaks in, leaving a very light film that seals in all of your nightly skincare. I was expecting to find this quite heavy because it has shea but I find it lightweight (especially for a night cream), soaks in well while still leaving the aforementioned film. The scent from this cream (listed as parfum/fragrance) is a light floral scent which I really enjoy but I know others may want to avoid. I was surprised to see the full size version is in a jar – the deluxe sample is a tube which I actually prefer for a cream like this. Overall, this is a very nice night cream but given the price point (over $50CAD) and the fact that I think this may only be appropriate for my oily skin during the winter, I don’t think I’ll be repurchasing this again in the near future (though I may think differently if the product was in a tube instead of a jar!) #trywithtopbox
product review negatives
It has a floral scent and is quite expensive. I am not a fan of the packaging. I also notice it pulls up sometimes.
